In light of all the rain that has been falling around Peoria IL lately, I thought this would be a good post to help everybody keep the wetness in perspective. You may or may not have seen in the world news that northern Brazil is experiencing some major flooding.
What I would ask is that you take some time to pray for these people of the Amazon Basin where they are literally watching their homes be washed down the river. The PAZ church in Santarém where I’ll be living made a video to show the reality of the situation. It is said that this is the worst flooding that Santarém has ever seen! They need your prayer for strength to get through this disaster!
