Right now, hundreds of PAZ churches across Brazil are fasting for three days. This particular fast is directed towards the missions outreach of Project Amazon. Please check out the PAZ website for some specific prayer points.
As I was preparing for this fast, I came across the following transcript on the Desiring God website, a message prepared by Michael Oh, missionary to Japan, for presentation at the 2009 Desiring God Conference for Pastors. It’s entitled Missions as Fasting. You’ll be challenged. It’s worth the read.
