BIG Plans

This month has been a bit out of the norm.  Since my last trip out on the river for water filter supervision, we've been pretty much camped out here in the city.  Mostly because we have a HUGE team of Americans in town right now getting ready to go out on a 6 day outreach trip.  It's taken virtually all the mission resources to prep.  Many of the PAZ missionaries have been working hard to put all this together, many aspects being much more difficult than normal, because of the number of visitors.  Over 70 people will be going out on this trip to bless the community of Curuá.  Please partner with us in prayer for this outreach event, logistics, protection (spiritual and physical), safety for people and equipment, but most importantly for the move of the Holy Spirit for a great harvest of Souls!

We've had various events come and go like our annual church missionary conference where we honor and bless the hard working and dedicated families of this region of the Amazon Basin.  Easter, of course, was a fabulous spiritual weekend.  Our cell groups are growing, a definite answer to prayer and fasting.

I have been working hard to stay up to date with friends and family back home.  I have updated our Partnership Info page here, including a link for signing up for our monthly e-mail update.

I hope you enjoy a few photos from the past month here in Santarém.  To God be the glory!

Praying over some short-term missionaries as they head back home.
A little cookout with one of our cell groups.
Homemade bagels!  Yeah, that's right, can't buy them here!
The other cell group folks.
Easter Sunday cookout and relaxation!
