Lonely...

Not much new going on around the homestead these last days...I'm missing my wife as she is out traveling with the mission health team to some Amazon River villages.  I'll patiently wait for her return on Sunday.  Join me in praying for a fruitful effort for their team!  Travel is difficult in that region because of the extreme flood levels this year.  Silvia called me today and told me that they got the boat stuck yesterday and were thus late for their first stop!  Now today, they had to park the boat far from land, so people have to come in canoes to the boat.

But, praise God that this last week, the river actually started to recede, several weeks ahead of schedule!  Our local church is helping some people where the water has entered their homes by donating wood to install false floors until the water goes down in a couple months.  Our downtown is full of wooden walkways where the water has covered the street and sidewalk.

I'm also recovering from tendonitis for about a month now, but I was finally able to return to running this week.

Mommy and BabyE are doing great!  Getting bigger all the time!
